STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN - IN THE BEGINNING - APRIL 1ST 1980. This is the album that brought Stevie's music from out of the city of Austin Tx. & started to put his name in the spotlight in places outside of Texas. This album was recorded live at radio station 107.1 KGSR - FM in Austin, Tx. & put out over the airwaves in raw SRV form. Jimmy was always the Vaughan brother that got the attention in Austin's music scene, but this album started to show the world that Stevie was not just Jimmy's little brother but the " Guitar Hurricane " of Austin, Tx. A year later he would get his break with producer John Hammond & with new bassist Tommy Shannon they released " Texas Flood " and started to turn the world on fire. There is one tiny scuff about an inch long on the vinyl that does not effect the playing & from the original sleeve to the jacket everything is in Ex. condition. Cleaned with a Nitty Gritty lp cleaning machine that spins the album on top of thousands of tiny micro fibers soaked in cleaning solution & then vacuumed & sucked dry which leaves a beautiful clean album & you are ready to go.
