Description
This is a gently pre-owned original pressing vinyl LP "The Sky Is Crying" by the great Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. It was released in 1991 by Epic Records # E 47390, USA. I purchased this album "brand new" from Tower Records. I played it only twice, and then filed it away for safe keeping. I visually grade the vinyl LP, outer cover, and inner sleeve to be in excellent condition. The vinyl LP is clean, no scratches. The spine is well centered. The opened shrink wrap still covers it nicely. There is a hype sticker and two tiny price stickers on the front outer shrink wrap. The inner sleeve has no split seams. There is a tiny sticker on the inner sleeve. My date of purchase (11-24-1991) is lightly written in pencil on the inner sleeve (it is very easily erasable). There is some crinkling on the inner sleeve (nothing major, see photos).
The Sky Is Crying is the fifth and final studio album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, compiling songs recorded throughout most of their career. Released 14 months after Vaughan's death in 1990, the album features ten previously unreleased tracks recorded between 1984 and 1989. Only one title, "Empty Arms" (complete reprisal), appeared on any of the group's previous albums. The tracks were compiled by Vaughan's brother, Jimmie Vaughan, and was Vaughan's highest charting album at number 10.The album received positive reviews. Critics praised the blues and jazz styles, and the solid track listing. (wikipedia)
