This is my EX / MINT (UNPLAYED) original copy of this UK ORIOLE (TAMLA MOTOWN) LP - PS40050, Whilst collecting a full set of UK MOTOWN LPs in the 1980s I was fortunate to fall upon a former ORIOLE Records representitive who sold me his 'file' copies of all the MOTOWN related ORIOLE LPs. They were all MINT as from the factory and any minor blemishes where simply those in production and handling at birth! I have never played them as I had lesser copies to do that to! So my review is based on this particular history - Filed away in a plastic sleeve in a smioke free house for over 25 years and un-played! These records are now for sale. Both the disc and the sleeve are in great MINT / OFF THE SHELF condition! This one THE !" YEAR OLD GENIUS RECORDED LIVE has had the sleeve reduced from MINT to EX because of a visible laminate creasing in the bottom r/h corner and a lighter one at bottom r/h corner along with some light wear in this area at the record opening. This is not from 'handlind' as the sleeve still feels and looks like new, but these are simply accidents of the years! If you have read my reviews of the two MARY WELLS ORIOLE LPs I have on ebay at the same time, you will be pleased to know that this STEVIE LP has no sign of bag-rash at all! So its 1963 all over again with this unimaginally 'new' feeling copy! This is one of the hardest to find from the classic UK imprint! ULTRA RARE IN THIS "AS NEW" CONDITION! Anyone wanting to avoid an auction can make an 'off ebay' offer on the other Oriole LPs (except the ones listed at present by me) and TRIBUTE TO UNCLE RAY which has already been sold!
