For auction here is a very rare Demonstration copy of Stewart A Brown's 'I Can't Go On Living Without You' coupled with 'Don't Call Me' and issued on the RCA label RCA 1808. Stewart A Brown is in fact Stu Brown of Bluesology fame and the title track is written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. It is suspected that Elton adds keyboards to this track but no concrete evidence has come to light to my knowledge but piano is present on the A side so draw your own conclusions. The single was withdrawn and some stock copies were sold. However finding a Demonstration copy of this single is extremely hard. Stock copies of this are up for sale between £100-£150 on Discogs.
It comes in a company promotional copy sleeve as can be seen in the scans.
Visibly it is a very nice copy of which the labels can be seen in the scans. There is some very light marking on the A side which might just be visible in the scans. The vinyl is in a very nice condition with the odd light mark and has a very nice sheen.
Audibly it plays all the way through with no skips and no jumps I would say it's VG+ approaching Excellent

I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerprice rating
