STING - 2 CD live in Amsterdam - Paradiso 1996 - The Police no LP vinyl rare

This is a very rare live recording of Sting. This 2CD-set "An Englishman in Paradiso - First Night" features the complete performance of Sting at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on March 9, 1996 (although the sleeve mentions: March 8, 1996!). The show was performed at a very nice and small venue (which used to be a church!) in front of just about 1,000 people. It was the first try out gig for the Mercury Falling world tour. Sting makes a lot of jokes and the show features songs which were only performed at the first few shows of the tour.

The band: Sting (vocals, bass), Dominic Miller (guitar), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), Kenny Kirkland (keyboards), Butch Thomas (saxophone), Clark Gayton (trombone) and four female backing vocalists.

The sound quality of the recording is excellent
The CDs (NOT CDRs!) are still in perfect condition!
