Bloody rare boxset on Harmonia Mundi, this is Box No7 from the "Zeitgenoessische Musik in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" series, the series that featured all avant-garde / experimental music production in Germany from the 50's to the end of the 70's, 10 boxes in total!!! No7 that is sold here is one of the more sought after boxes from this series, because it contains works from the 1960-1970 and from composers like Stockhausen and Kayn and this period is the most important for experimental composers, because of the breakthroughs that were achieved at that period, including many early electronic and experimental works. Surely a deluxe release, comes with a 40-page book with texts and photos with the composers and their works! This is a library copy, but still the box lies in excellent condition, nearly new with the exception of the signs of some library stickers that were removed, but practically new, the vinyls & book in mint condition!!!Nearly impossible to come accross a copy of this in such great condition....recommended for fans of Stockhausen, Koenig, Berio, Eimert, John Cage, Iannis Xenakis, Pierre Herny, Luc Ferrari, Parmegiani, Schaeffer.
