STONE CIRCUS s/t TOP! Original 1969 Acid Fuzz Psych lp M-

1969/USA/Mainstream Records S/6119….. here’s a clean original pressing of this rare Psych Rock lp. The cover is in solid clean condition with a small delete hole top left corner, light corner dings/wear, the rear cover slick has a small tear at the top and there is some small damage to the back cover near the midde right side(see scans), otherwise the cover is very clean with no splits! The vinyl is in M- like new condition. The record looks Unplayed. Clean labels have no spindle marks. A super copy of this rare lp! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s. If you've been searching for an album full of dreamy, pseudo-psych pop-rock, then 1969's "The Stone Circus" may be the answer to your search. Largely written by keyboardist Caine (someone by the name of Murphy contributed two selections and co-wrote two of the songs with Caine), the album's quite enjoyable. Musically tracks such as 'What Went Wrong' and 'Sara Wells' were full of pretty melodies, nice harmonies and interesting studio effects. In terms of performances, Paige had a nice voice that was well suited to the band's blend of commercial moves and more psych/experimental efforts. Elsewhere, guitarist Haines offered up plenty of feedback drenched guitar on tracks such as 'Mr. Grey' and 'Blue Funk'...[net]

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
