We Wanna Funk Ya

"Long Distance Lover" is an excellent modern track that I know people are going to like when they hear it. Play the attached clip to hear it. This record came out of the collection of a DJ who worked at WCHB in Detroit. I can't find any information on this record, so I don't know where it is from but it has a good chance of being from a Detroit related group. Most of the small label 45s in this DJ's collection were Detroit records. My 2nd guess would be that it is from Georgia as there is a Stone Mountain, GA. But this record just sounds like Deroit. Excellent cut!

The flip is an excellent disco funk cut that I slept on until just now. I think "We Wanna Funk Ya" will definitely appeal to the funk guys.
