AN OPPORTUNITY TO OBTAIN A SUPERB EXAMPLE INDEED OF THIS RECORD.

This is from my own personal record collection, which I have decided to downsize. All my records have always been treated with the utmost respect since purchase eg always stored, from purchase, in plastic covers; always played on hi-fi equipment; never loaned. Even now, in this age of CDs, I get ‘squemish’ at the sight of actors on TV handling records with their mitts all over the grooves rather than with respect by the edges!

Under a strong focused light I can see the merest hint of a spider light radial line, which does not come through on audio at all. There is minimal sleeve scuffing, and this radial is probably part of this. The record has not been played for many, many years until a recent pre-sale test playing (on my Systemdek IIX / Cambridge Audio system), and wasn't played much originally. The sound came through crisp, clean, no obvious jumps or clicks, with that lush ‘vinyl’ sound (sorely missed in this digital age).

I would grade the record as at least Ex+

The record centre labels are also unmarked – no spindle marks, wear etc.

Because it has been protected the sleeve too is in Excellent+ / Mint-.

Usually, as you can see from other recent listings, I try to describe and photo any sleeve and inner faults. However in this case there is barely anything negative to report.

The sleeve is practically pristine, with the merest hint of a knock on the top, open edge corner - Photo 8

The spine is totally fresh and undamaged.

There is no wear whatsoever on the base edge

There is no 'record circle'

The printed inner sleeve is unmarked, uncreased and unblemished. I have left in place the 'Woolworth' stock sticker that is on the inner cover - Photo 6

PACKAGING

When posted I will remove the record from its inner sleeve and place it in a separate, new paper liner, and in turn in a sealed plastic cover. The cover and original liner will be placed together in a separate sealed plastic cover too. They will then be posted in a new, wraparound, cruciform mailer. I will also include some additional internal stiffening too.

POSTAGE

Any record selling for more than £25 will be sent, within the UK, by Royal Mail Special Delivery (includes insurance, and has to be signed for on receipt). Cost, including packaging, £8.

If purchased by an overseas buyer please wait until I have been able to check for postage rate to your location and can provide a total price invoice. Looking at other listings it appears that overseas signed for posting may cost up to around £15.

REFUND
