Description

Rock & Roll and U.F.O 'S !! This screen printed poster was made by the Polytantric Soc., worthy promoters of Free Festivals and all things alternative, in 1985. It heralds the Stonehenge Free Festival that never was, except for Hawkwind playing to the dedicated festival goers and travellers who made it to a rain swept Westbury Hill in the aftermath of Stonehenges' enforced closure and the 'Battle of the Beanfield'. The poster measures 70cm x 52 cm., and, while originally folded, it has been kept rolled up over the years and will be posted rolled. There are some creases from folding, and some blue tac marks in the rear corners, but nothing that disrupts the front.
