Description

Here's a slightly obscure one. Herman -real name Herman Colbert- recorded these down home sounding sides in 1955 for Dootsie Williams' DooTone label. The harp on this is by non other than Ozie Saxton who was one of the Dixie Blues Boys group which recorded two fine sides on Flair -thanks to the notes to Ace CD 1115 for this info! These Herman sides are also nice. Recorded in Los Angeles.(Listen on You Tube if you don't know them)
