Description
First pressing of Strange Pleasure by Galliard released in 1969 on the Deram Nova Series Label SDN4 in glorious stereo. I purchased this when it first came out and have owned it ever since. I have just cleaned it with a professional vacuum record cleaner and the sound throughout is bright and strong. Side A is really good with the odd pop and crackle and I would grade as excellent. Side B has a couple of issues but I believe is more than acceptable considering how rare this album is - there is a scratch on the first track but it's still listenable and there is noise on the final track so I would this side as VG-. I would reiterate that the sound quality is crisp, clear and strong throughout.
The labels are fairly lean but side A has been signed by some idiot that being me. The sleeve is in pretty good condition but once again carries the signature of that idiot again and also has marks where sellotape was removed (why did we do that back in those days?).
It comes complete with the original inner sleeve which once again has been signed by that idiot and is a bit tatty.
I did actually get to see them as well which must have been a bit of a rarity.
Any questions please ask.
