Up for sale is an exceptionally rare PRIVATE PRESS LP (12 inch, 33 RPM vinyl record) feature a very kitschy album cover in which both of the teenage singers (sisters in real life) sport very tall beehive hairdos and dresses resembling uniforms.  This LP cover has been featured on websites and blogs devoted to unusual album covers and has something of a cult following.
Album Title:  "Walk With Me" Artists:  The Singing Gospelettes ("for the Master") With Orchestra Record Label:  Private Press Album Number:  LP-1001-G Produced by R.E.A. Recordings "The Luxurious Sound in Religious Listening", P.O. Box 53454, New Orleans, La. Date:  Not stated on the album cover or on the record.  Some websites state that this is from 1963.

According to the back of the album jacket, the "Gospelettes" were two teen-age sisters, Edna (Scott) and Diana ("Dee") Garrett.  They had been singing together in church from a very young age.  They had performed at various churches and youth meetings in "many parts of the country".  I was unable to find out anything about what became of the sisters.  This appears to have been their only recorded LP.
