rare German first press vinyl 4LP box set released 1959 on "RED STEREO" tulip DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo label with 'ALLE HERSTELLER' and catalognumber SLPM 138040/43. The clothbound box with "Red Stereo Sticker" is the earliest possible style, comes complete with 30-page libretto booklet and a small discography booklet that dates 6/59 (see photo) and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect! Best copy I have seen in many years ... very rare find in this perfect condition!! Famous reference performance by Karl Bohm conducting the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden feat. Irmgard Seefried, Rita Streich, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Marianne Schech, Kurt Bohme ... recorded with true audiophile soundquality.
