STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK Lp Glen Glenn Hollywood CA 14 Inch Transcription. No sleeve or jacket.
This from the estate of a gentleman who moved to Missouri from California and had some affiliation with some of the studios. This disc was in a box along with several more and a lot of them were not stored in sleeves and are quite dirty. This one measures 14 inches in diameter and appears to have an aluminum core and I am presuming it should be called a transcription since it not solid vinyl. I did wipe it off a little and concentrated on the uncut area and I believe the record could be better cleaned by someone who has more experience. I do not see a lot of deep scratches and feel there is a good chance that most of of not all could be played after a better cleaning.
As you can see, the side with the label has maybe 1-1/2 inches or so recorded on it and the opposite side has several separate recorded areas with blank spots between. And no label present on that side. I will list this one tonight along with two similar 14 inch discs with Buffalo Springfield written on the label in a separate auction. If there is interest in these, I will list others although very few have labels. Anyway, it is a roll of the dice on condition so keep that in mind. These will not fit on my turntable and I know they need to be cleaned better before they are played.
