Description

STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK – “The World in a Sea Shell” (1968) UNI-73035 original pressing EX/M- (cover/vinyl)

The third and final album featuring the original pop-psych “Incense and Peppermints” line up. The album wasn’t a commercial success, and core members – George Bunnell and Randy Seol – left the group following its release. This is definitely one of their toughest LPs to find. Songs include “Sea Shell,” “Blues for a Young Girl Gone,” “An Angry Young Man,” “A Million Smiles Away,” “Home Sweet Home,” “Lady of the Lake,” “Barefoot in Baltimore,” “Wooden Woman,” “Heated Love,” “Love Me Again,” “Eulogy,” and “Shallow Impresions.”

This is an original pressing. The thick cover has only the slightest hint of wear and three drill holes – one in each corner except top front left. The vinyl is beautiful, clean and glossy. Conservative grading: EX/M- (cover/record).

Winner pays postage. Domestic U.S. shipping is $4 media rate or $9 for priority mail (insurance additional and quoted at cost). International first class shipping (7-10 day delivery) varies by postal zone. Please see the listing for specific costs.

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
