DISC SHINY SIDE ONE EX W/ FEW FAINT SCRATCHES SIDE TWO EX W EVEN FEWER FAINT SCRATCHES DISC PLAYS GREAT This lone album by the Japanese band Strawberry Path is a very good totality in my opinion. The band mixes the elements of hard rock, psychedelia and blues rock here in their only LP. Some of the songs also include elements from progressive rock but those are not as dominant as the elements from the aforementioned genres.
I think this is a very balanced package full of strong material. The only track that I find to be quite mediocre is "Spherical Illusion" which includes a lengthy drum solo. Apart from that one song this album is a strong totality. I'll rate it with four stars out of five. Recommended in case you know you like heavy psych with bluesy elements.
