ITEM: Exceedingly rare ONE-SIDED TEST PRESSING for the "Winter Wonderland" B side to Stryper's "Reason for the Season" PICTURE DISC! These black versions are typically made to provide accurate sound fidelity for in-house label approval and band approval. Picture discs are of a lesser quality and therefore do not have the same sound performance as standard vinyl, thus black wax is used for most PD test pressings!
This is even rarer still, as the pressing plant got the band's name wrong on the label! Instead of STRYPER, it says STRIPPER!!! The label manufactured special stickers to cover up this misstep, and one of these is on here. You can actually see the erroneous STRIPPER bleeding through the sticker. The sticker lists the "Reason for the Season" A-side, but as you can see it has been crossed out on this sticker (because this is only one-sided; the other side is ungrooved and contains no music). This was manufactured by Enigma Records as a test for catalog No. E-1135. THIS COPY IS STUNNING NM, POSSIBLY UNPLAYED! Gorgeous and rare!
