Description
Studio di Musica Elettronica di Torino - Musica elettronica\Computer music
Italian private pressing, Fonit Cetra\Pianeta LPP 0001S (1972)
Holy Grail alert! The rarest experimental electronic record out of Italy, not properly for library purpose even if it has also been used as background music and privately pressed at the Fonit Cetra studios (home of Braen Raskovich - Quarta Pagina library and more...). Music by the Turin Electronic Music studio with six long tracks by Enore Zaffiri (pioneer and studio founder), Lorenzo Ferrero, Leonardo Gribaudo and Giovanni Sciarrino. A very importat record with the earliest use of London EMS' VCS3 synth as a live instrument + Pietro Grossi own programming code. The whole record is just mindmelting featuring pure abstract electronic madness over some weird tape manipulation and tape collage with sinister female vocals, weird human jabbering\moans\laments, environmental sounds and so on... Can't say more, just listen to the long clip and freak out! Killer!
