Hard to imagine a jazz direct-to-disc any better than this one from the LA4.
It is a limited edition from Concord Jazz that displays the fine playing talents of guitarist Laurindo Almeida, bassist Ray Brown, drummer Jeff Hamilton, and alto saxman Bud Shank.
Very clean, dynamic sound, with great “in your listening room” presence, in NOUVEAU BACH, CARINHOSO, JUST FRIENDS, a great LOVE FOR SALE/LOVE WALKED IN medley, and SPAIN.
Absolutely fabulous jazz fare, mastered by Capitol, here in fine shape: Metallized cover without major fault (one slightly crumpled corner is all), record within will play near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
