Catalog #: LP-2979 Year: 1961 Format: Vinyl Record White Label PROMO Duration: LP Size: 12" Speed: 33rpm Genre: Soul/Funk Condition: Cover: VG+ (slight soiling, a stamp on the back, kind of rough bottom edge) Vinyl: VG (multiple visible marks) Description: This is the rare white label PROMO of solid Soul album released on Checker. The cover shows some wear but displays nicely. The vinyl retains its gloss, but there are numerous marks that are apparent. This is a nice rarity.

Condition Grading: We visually grade each record and its accompanying cover/sleeve under a strong light and assign a condition grade using the Goldmine standards with the addition of the grades: EX for those records that are definitely better than just VG+ but are not perfect enough to be considered NM; and SS for those records that are still sealed in its original factory shrink and unopened. I also do not use the grade Mint. If a piece appears to be mint I will assign a grade of NM, as the highest grade, because no piece is absolutely flawless and Mint.
