Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1950 78rpm pressing of the Summer Stock musical soundtrack, starring Judy Garland and Gene Kelly, on MGM album 30251. This was Judy’s last movie for MGM, and features her classic version of Get Happy, the last thing she did at MGM before she was fired, and one of her all time great performances. All four discs are very nearly perfectly mint and play just about perfectly. There are a few very tiny superficial scuffs here and there but really these discs look barely used. The cover is in great shape, but with a bit of water damage at the bottom edge which isn’t bad, but I admit there is a faint mildew scent. Not bad. Really it is a beautiful copy outside and in, and sounds absolutely wonderful. Hard to beat this copy.
