Vinyl Visual / Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Vinyl retains great glossy sheen; under bright light there are visible marks, mainly hairlines but also a few other more noticeable marks and blemishes.
Playback is graded EXCELLENT MINUS - this is a live recording ( Balloon Theatre, Cairo, Egypt in 1971 ) but it is a relatively quiet performance by Sun Ra's standards so it actually plays really well but there is still in places some quiet surface noise audible and the odd click and pop here and there - but really nothing to distract from the perfomance.
ORANGE and BLACK EL SATURN labels are EXCELLENT with few visible spindle marks.
Sleeve Condition: EXCELLENT
Thick card picture sleeve is a strong EXCELLENT - really very little wear at all - couple of corner dings and a slight crease/fold to front top left and minor discoloration to the white back but no writing and spine remains strong and solid (no text on spine).
POST & PACKING
LPs are packaged in professional double card sleeves using stiffeners to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. All Records have new poly-lined sleeves and are removed from the outer sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
