Sun Ra And His Solar Arkestra playing Secrets Of The Sun ORIGINAL 1965 SATURN RECORDS LP GH 9954-E/F Vinyl has very little use and no scratches. Visually EX+. Most of the playback is EX+ or better, like the glorious “Space Aura” which plays without noted flaw. Grades EX- overall due to some background surface noise, mostly only notable on Friendly Galaxy. Some surface noise may be inherent in the private pressing as this ORIGINAL 1965 VINYL PRESSING on SATURN RECORDS looks to only have been played a handful of times. The tone is wonderful with intense drums, deep, present, and bright blaring horns, and the full range of moans and groans. Cover is VG+ due to a large crease and corner wear, still very sharp.

Accessible, yet segueing into vanguard territory, this album highlights a fertile period in the Arkestra's history.
