Description
SUN RA and his ARKESTRA (Featuring STUFF SMITH ON VIOLIN) "DEEP PURPLE" (formerly, "DREAMS COME TRUE") Original pressing on Saturn Records 485. Hand collage cover VG+ (front side in mint shape but backside has been collaged with 8 magazine images). Record NM. Some pops and a little background noise as can be expected with original Saturn pressings. I noticed side one had a few more pops than side two. This is truly related to the fact that it's a Saturn pressing, though, as I can assure you this lp has only been played three or four times on a high end system. Another amazing entry in Ra's expansive catalog, don't miss this!
This is the most unbelievable collection of records I've posted to date, and one of the heaviest listings I've seen on ebay of late. Many of these records simply never come up for auction, especially in such fine condition. So I would urge to have a careful look at my other auctions because I think you'll be amazed by what you see. This is truly the posting you've been waiting for! Most of my auctions are ending around the same time so if you're thinking of bidding on multiple items I would advise you that it might be a wise idea to use your bid-sniping programs if you have them.
GRADING: I only use the following grades: NM, VG++, VG+, VG. I try to grade consevatively (check my feedback and you'll see that I'm an honest grader!). I simply don't think it's worth my time or yours to post records that are in poor, unplayable condition. I only sell original pressings unless I note otherwise.
