SUN RA: SUPER-SONIC SOUNDS 1974 IMPULSE! RECORDS GATEFOLD LP AS-9271 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! One of a trio of albums the Sun Ra released in the 50's and the one that took not only the jazz world, but the music world by storm. There was simply nothing like it, anywhere. The music is diverse, exciting and takes the listener on an aural adventure, yes that's a lot to say but it does. Tracks such as India, Sunology, Kingdom Of Not & Springtime In Chicago all appear on this must own 50's recording. All fans of the man or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout, not a stretch to even say a VG++ on the vinyl. The gatefold cover has a scuffed lower left hand spine corner, mild wear along the rest of the edges and minor rubs on the corners. The original inner sleeve has a small split. A fantastic buy!!
