Description
Rare original French atlantic pressing of "Live in Paris at the Gibus" by Sun Ra. Gatefold cover is strong VG+ with some top seam wear and a once inch split. Vinyl is visually NM but sort of a typically noisy French pressing. Expect some occasional soft crackles on both sides...nothing terrible but playback is in the VG+ realm. I remember reading somewhere that Hartmut Geerken felt this album was just as rare as the Saturns...I guess only one pressing was made?
Recent circumstances have forced me to sell about half of my Sun Ra collection including most of my Saturns. These have been amassed over the last 20 years and are all in very nice condition; no trashed copies here. Please see my other auctions for more rare Sun Ra gems!
