Visually the vinyl retains excellent deep lustrous sheen and under bright light there are few visible marks, predominantly hairlines and paper scuffs and very few other more significant marks. Playback is graded EXCELLENT - plays really well, strong and clear and with really very minimal surface noise and what there is is only noticeable in the quietest parts of this part live recording. Some great tracks too and also some great vocalising from Sun Ra and several others in particular on 'Planetary Search'. The WHITE and BLACK SATURN record labels are EXCELLENT MINUS - minimal visible spindle wear.
The HANDMADE thick card PICTURE sleeve with picture pasted on the front and the track listing stuck on the back with tape is in really great shape - EXCELLENT. This is an Lp that was obtained at one of the Sun Ra concerts at the time - they were sold after the concert and if you were lucky they would sometimes be signed or drawn or painted on by the group themselves ! These records don't come up for sale too often these days as most are in the hands of dedicated collectors and super Sun Ra fans so this is a rare not to be missed opportunity to obtain this classic free astro galaktic jazz Lp from the one and only SUN RA and his troupe of fellow travellers !!
