GLADLY COMBINE SHIPPING!
MINT (M) - Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line, also listed as New, Mint Sealed/Unopened. (records will very rarely have this classification)
NEAR MINT (NM) - Looks as if it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time, maybe played a few times if ever, no evidence of play or wear whatsoever. No record is ever truly perfect...
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - or Excellent (EX) - LP may have a slight surface marks, but sound quality will not be affected at all, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they do not affect playback, yet when observed closely will show to have a flaw or small flaws, minor signs of handling may also be present. Cover sleeve shows slight signs of wear, a cut-out marking (mostly applies to promos, but not always), very minor ring wear if any, might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long, seams and spine intact but not pristine.
VERY GOOD (VG) - more obvious signs of wear and handling, LP has surface noise that is slightly noticeable in some spots but is otherwise quiet and clean, clicks and pops will be somewhat heard, but will not significantly disrupt the music. Cover sleeves have more obvious ring wear or marks & staining, seams may have cracking, minor seam splitting or some missing spine text but are still fairly well intact. Writing, stickers, or tape may be present on the label.
GOOD (G) - Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. Cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, stickers, or tape.
POOR (P) and Fair (F) – Records are cracked, impossibly warped, or skip and/or repeat when an attempt is made to play them. Covers are so heavily damaged. We will only have the most outrageously rare items for sale.
