PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. PLAYS ENJOYABLE!
Super rare 1966 (((MONO))) first pressing on the obscure/local Washington state "Panorama" label...a great Lp, filled with smokin' Pacific Northwest bands that compete like their lives are on the line (and most were) ...
Highlights are everywhere, topped-out by the torrid fuzz raves of The Sonics ... As well, the rest of the album features impact garage-kickers who never made albums, and maybe only one or two 45's, but reckoned to be dealt with, exploding their little fuzz-boxes and crankin' some primitive melodies that deliver the goods in the style collectors of the genre hunt for... The Pacific Northwest turned out some of the greatest sixties stompers, this album proves it wasn't just The Wailers, Sonics and Paul Revere & The Raiders...
The Sonics (kick off this album with their pumping "Like No Other Man") and garage hound collectors raise their hats to these proto-Seattle punks from the mid-'60s who broke free from the shackles of conservative America (the bobby sox phase!) with the toughest and most belligerent music heard since Jerry Lee Lewis. It still sounds a hell of a lot meaner than what passes as punk today, too. The "Northwest sound" was kick-started on Battle Of The Bands Volume One that includes two full sides of tougher-than-the-norm stomping garage & jangle folk-rock gems thrown in for good measure.

The vinyl is all glossy having only some light hairlines VG++ to "EX" (excellent) ...plays nice.
CONDITION: The cover: The cover in solid VG++ or better front, VG+ back, only cause of discoloration off to the side (see exact photos) ...seams are solid ...no bends, no delete marks, no writing ...
The vinyl: rated strong VG...yes minor light hairlines scuffs, deep groove pressing plays really strong - enjoyable, there is a bit of light surface in between songs, but only minor overall. The labels are free from writing or soil. 52 years of age local pressing - most bands not available elsewhere on LP
