KORN THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTOR’S EDITION OF THE SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM FROM THE NU-METAL FOUNDERS.

-

RECORD STORE DAY BLACK FRIDAY FROM BROOKVALE RECORDS & ENJOY THE RIDE RECORDS “Ko?n was almost solely responsible for the tidal wave of change that subsequently swept the metal scene.”
                                             – Joel McIver, Nu-Metal: The Next Generation of Rock & Punk

Originally released in October 1994, the eponymous debut album from nu-metal founders Korn now comes to vinyl for the first time in the United States. Since its original release in 1994, Korn has sold over ten million copies worldwide and is the album widely credited with establishing the nu-metal genre. -

Arriving 11/28/14 as Brookvale Records' 2014 RSD Black Friday indie exclusive, this very special 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition has been remastered for vinyl and comes in a spectacular gatefold jacket. The 2-LP set has been pressed from lacquers cut at Lucky Lacquers for optimal sound quality. Limited to 1500 copies on black vinyl, Side D features an incredible laser etching of the album’s iconic cover art.

This must-have ‘90s classic arrives November 28th, 2014 as a Record Store Day Black Friday indie exclusive. And as if this release couldn’t get any more exciting, a very small number of Clear Vinyl LPs have been randomly inserted into the black vinyl run.
