Description

DJ Shadow and the Groove Robbers - ultra rare picture disc issue

Side A: In/Flux Side B: Hindsight.

Label: Mo Wax Catalog#: MW 014 Format: 12" Country: UK Released: 1993 Genre: Electronic, Hip Hop Style: Instrumental, Abstract, Downtempo Notes: Limited picture disc

This is the one that broke it for Mo' Wax. In Flux is really a classic, with dead slow beats and that bassline...a lot of vocal samples and it gets all uplifting at the end with the pianos and stuff. This is what determined what direction Mo' Wax would go in. The flip side speeds up the beats a little, it's all sparse and atmospheric, with even the Star Wars stormtrooper sample. Like Shadow says, the beat is the most important thing, everything else is just there to ride on top of it. And both of these deliver. This is probably the best DJ Shadow product released to date. Note: Two different versions released-- regular 12" and picture disc.

THIS IS THE PICTURE DISC released on Mo'Wax in 1993 and the catalogue number is MW014. This copy is in very good condition and comes in the original clear plastic sleeve with the details on a sticker top right.

**NO RESERVE**

This will need to be posted recorded delivery/insured because of rarity.
