If you look hard enough you'll come upon one of these every once and a while but very few exist. This is an original 1962 issue of "Girls Girls Girls" with a very unusual flat label. The photo that says flat label is of the record for sale. The photo that says normal label is of the same issue but with a usual label. The normal label one is not included in this auction, I only included a photo of it so that you can compare the difference. Notice that the normal label has a deep groove half an inch from the edge that the flat one does not. The textures of the two labels are a bit different, and the print is a little different too. The design of the flat label is almost more like that of later flexible vinyl pressings but this is indeed an original rigid vinyl pressing. It's an odd variation that would be great to add to any collection.
Record is EX. Lots of shine. It has a few light scuffs and just a few super light scratches. Plays almost perfectly. Labels have a few spindle marks.
Cover is VG-. Split six inches on bottom, one inch on top. Spine is cracking. Ink wear and sticker on back.
Original RCA Victor inner sleeve included.
