PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1965 first pressing with laminated cover of the very first RATTLES album...never released in the USA and on the famously collected *STAR CLUB* German "beatrocker" label.
Released in the height of BEATLEMANIA, the Star Vlub was the prime hot spot for aspiring "Beat" bands with hopes of reaching stardom...there were many great group efforts that fell short, stuff like the LIVERBIRDS, GERMAN BONDS, REMO FOUR, HI-FI's, WALKER BROTHERS, THE MAGGOTS, etc etc....
The Rattles...one of the beat rocker band in the '60s, led by guitarist Achim Reichel who went on to the popular underground psych band AR & Machines... but in the formative stages, the Rattles were, like the Stones & Yardbirds, all about reelin' & rockin' and having a rave-up! The Rattles began their career in the same Hamburg scene where many Liverpool based UK beat groups got their start. They met The Beatles in 1962 and played alongside them on three occasions in Germany; at Munich, Essen and Hamburg. One of the most successful, and certainly one of the most prolific, German rock groups of the '60s, the Rattles enjoyed reasonable success in their native land without making much of an impression elsewhere (though some of their material was released in other countries). Starting out in the same Star Club-based Hamburg scene as the Liverpool groups of the early '60s, their early repertoire was built upon a base of '60s rock and R&B. Again, the Rattles were a strong popular band to the point they played with The Beatles in Hamburg and supported them on their last tour in Europe in 1966 .Shout

CONDITION: The Cover: Very nice final collection copy ... has the stylized metallic gold "Hi-Fi Stereo" sticker which is usally ripped and torn if still there at all, here a nice overall near M- copy and that is saying something when the fagile nature of the cover is usually found dirty and torn after 48 years! No bends, no split seams, no writing ...
The Vinyl: a beautiful, M- copy, all smooth and clear ...one of the BEST you could EVER hope for... copies are just not found THIS clean ... obviously plays without incident ... both Star club labels are clean
