TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all in great condition! Here is one of those early,very rare and highly collectible LP`s by 1950's-'60's artists, The Super Stocks (with Gary Usher) - for all the "hot rod" collectors, as well as all you R'n'Rer's out there - and an LP I never thought I'd let go, but....... The ultra rare album is entitled "School Is A Drag" by The Super Stocks, from 1964 - and is just one of two LPs by this group I plan to list this weekend. The album features 12 classic "high school/hot rod" songs - all in MONO and all in outstanding, near mint shape - as is the neat "car cover" jacket (see the photos above for all song titles). The piece even comes with it's original Capitol Records inner sleeve for all you purists out there. LABEL INFO: This original Capitol Label (T-2190) is nearly perfect with real no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl looks about as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this "car cover" jacket is also super nice and nearly perfect. I don't see anything negative about it at all - it's about as good as new! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this super rare, hard to find, and collectible LP is in really nice shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
