IMPERIAL 5401 THE DUKES "TEARDROP EYES"/"SHIMMIES & THE SHAKES". The record is a strong(almost M-) Vg++ with clean labels but for slight label discoloration due to moisture. Armand Hug(well known traditional jazz pianist) produced this session in New Orleans for Imperial; he told me the group was from Houston. They later went on to record a memorable session in L.A. with Ernie Freeman at the helm--these tracks(unissued at the time) were later bootlegged in the 1970's. Please excuse any glare on the photos--these are not defects. Winners will be notified by invoice the exact postage. Packages to the USA are sent FIRST CLASS/INSURED ($3 AND HIGHER FOR VALUE OVER $50). It is your resposibility to file the claim with USPS--I will provide the necessary receipts at my expense--but "I'M NOT DOING THE PAPERWORK!!!!". Records to Europe and Pacific Rim are sent Air Letter Post ($5, $6). Single records are packed in a 45 mailer (from Something Special Ent.) with two filler pads.
