British 1st release of superb film soundtrack to 'Superman II' (1980, dir. Richard Donner), featuring music composed by Ken Thorne based on original material composed by John Williams.

This movie sequel starred Gene Hackman, Christopher Reeve, Terence Stamp, Ned Beatty, Sarah Douglas, Margot Kidder and Jack O'Halloran.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: G. Looks unsoiled on visual inspection. Lots of surface marks, scuffs and hairlines on both sides. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is mixed throughout. Lots of surface noise at run-ins and between tracks but plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. Surface noise during quieter cues but not audible during louder sequences. A few clicks in places. Just about a good listen.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): G-VG. Colours clear and unfaded. Glossy sheen to both sides. Disc outline evident with creasing in from all sides and across front. Corners badly damaged. Top edge severely scuffed, bottom edge shows mild scuffing into corners. Spine split and scuffed, while aperture has mild wear. Back cover has more creasing in from all sides and disc ring outline. Diagonal creases in top left corner and near top edge. Inner Sleeve: VG-EX. White poly-lined paper with central hole and square corners. A few creases/folds through normal handling.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
