Description

Here is an extremely rare original 1978 set of Monarch test pressings, containing all four sides of John Williams' iconic Superman soundtrack, which was released as Warner Bros. 2BSK 3257. For some reason, most test pressings of this title that have surfaced are incomplete, containing only the first LP or the second LP alone. This set includes both. They are in VG+ condition with a few light surface marks. The matrix etchings in the dead wax are as follows:

  • Side 1: 2BSK-1-3257 M2 
  • Side 2: 2BSK-2-3257 M2 
  • Side 3: 2BSK-3-3257 M3 
  • Side 4: 2BSK-4-3257 M1
