LABEL, YEAR OF RELEASE & OTHER DETAILS: ISLAND RECORDS, MONO ILP 967, 1967, FIRST U.K. PRESS...
MATRIX NO'S. STAMPED: ILP+967+A / ILP+967+B
VINYL: EX both sides are very clean, barely a mark visible, beautiful!!....still retains its' original black sheen!!
AUDIO: EX plays with no sticks or jumps.. there is the occasional very light background noise i.e. scuff/pops in places, the run-ins are quiet, overall...very nice!!
SLEEVE: VG+ FRAGILE FULLY LAMINATED FULL COLOUR SINGLE SLEEVE..VERY CLEAN, HAS TAPE REPAIR ALONG BOTTOM EDGE, MILD CREASING AND SOME LAMINATE LIFTING ALONG SPINE EDGE.SPINE GOOD AND WITH ALL TEXT READABLE...ALSO, THERE IS NAME WRITTEN BACK TOP RIGHT, SEE PHOTO, BARELY NOTICEABLE!!......overall sleeve is in a clean and presentable shape for its' age!!
LABELS: EX...rough textured pink first press, nice and clean!!...
INNER SLEEVE: VG+ white die-cut inner sleeve...don't think it is the original!!
GRADING: I AM NO EXPERT BUT TRY AND GRADE AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE...WITH PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I WILL ALWAYS POST WITH RECOGNISED MAILERS AND STIFFENERS...THE VINYL WILL BE SEPARATED FROM THE SLEEVE PRIOR TO MAILING....
