📝 Item Description

Supertramp – Breakfast in America (1979)

Original US 1st Pressing — Original Factory Shrink-Wrap

Up for listing is a phenomenal piece of 1970s pop-prog history: an Original US First Pressing of Supertramp’s iconic 1979 album Breakfast in America, remaining completely Factory Sealed.

If you know this record, you know it is widely regarded as an absolute sonic benchmark—featuring legendary production, rich analog warmth, and timeless hits like "The Logical Song," "Take the Long Way Home," and "Goodbye Stranger."Finding an untouched, never-played original copy still preserved in its original factory shrink wrap is getting harder by the day.

🔍 Condition & Grading Breakdown

• Vinyl Condition: Mint / Presumed Unplayed (Factory Sealed)

  • Fully enclosed in its original tight factory shrink wrap. The vinyl inside has been undisturbed since it left the pressing plant in 1979.

• Jacket Condition: VG+ (Very Good Plus)

  • The sleeve retains vibrant color, sharp graphics, and original factory breath holes in the shrink wrap.

  • Note on Wear: To be 100% transparent for discerning collectors, there is a minor diagonal crease near the top left corner (clearly detailed in photo #2). The shrink wrap remains intact over the area, and the jacket otherwise shows crisp edges and excellent structural integrity. Perfect for displaying or keeping in an archival sleeve!
