Supertramp released their fifth studio album "Even In The Quietest Moments ..." in April 1977 on A&M Records. It was a Top 20 hit and became their first Gold record. Singles from the album include "Give A Little Bit" and "Babaji." The photo of a snow-covered piano on the cover displays sheet music labeled "Fool's Overture" but it's actually "The Star Spangled Banner."

This copy of (SP-4434) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in near mint condition as is the color Lyrics Inner Sleeve. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Frank DeLuna at A&M Mastering Studios in Hollywood and this copy was pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is etched AM 5005 RE-1 M6 (R) (MR) ?22135 (6) except the Monarch logo (MR) which is stamped.

In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 44 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
