Description
SURFING LP - SURFIN USA - THE HOT DOGGERS EPIC - RARE MONO - LN24054 Produced by Terry Melcher. Original rare 1st PRESSING IN 1963 from the great studio surf bands that include Bruce Johnson, Hal Blaine, Gary Usher, ect. The LP has been VPI cleaned, placed in clean antistatic sleeve and plastic cover for jacket. Still has original inner sleeve that is clean. Record is shipped outside of the jacket in well packed box. Vinyl: side A: Near Mint to VG+ play graded. side B: Near Mint to VG+- playgraded. It has no spindle wear with mint looking with yellow labels/no marks. Jacket Sleeve: NEAR MINT almost immaculate, no splits, slight shelf wear, does not have marks, names,ect on jacket. For the rarity of this item it is Extremely Clean and great looking. Is in great framing quality for Collectors. We have not seen one this nice in years. This would bring at least $350.00 at any collectors convention. Modest Reserve. This LP has great surf rockers. The musicians that did this were the greats in the field at the time and you can hear the fun and cool experimenting they do with their instruments on these cuts to make them on the cutting edge of what was happening in this genre of music at that time. The guitar work on this LP is cranking. We believe Richie Podolor was in on the guitar work.
