Out of my own collection here is one of the rarest Dutch Underground private pressing ever.

This item is the original first pressing NOT a reissue

With a batch of inserts, as there are:

1. Insert sheet with tracks and information

2. Blue typed letter with further explanations by Eddy van der Meer himself to every track from 1974

3. two red stripes of red blotting paper

What makes it so rare is that of this very limited edition of 500 albums only few survived. It was reported that the artist had thrown the most copies into the North Sea.

As far as I know copies of this ultra rare item appear only a handful of times within the last years, check it out elsewhere. And obviously this set seems to be complete with all the inserts that were never on sale the last years so far I know.

I played both sides recently one time on a Thorens TD 350 with a Benz ACE moving coil system and it plays wonderful. No pops, clicks, just crystal clear music, however sound quality is a little bit out of Standard as we can expect by a private release.

Be sure, that this chance to purchase such a RARE and UNIQUE item will never come back again.

COSMIC RARE ITEM

Here are some more information how earlier seller of this rarity advertised the item:

1. “SURPRIEZE " ZEER OUDE GELUIDEN EN HEEL NIEWE KLANKEN " original private -no label release from HOLLAND in early 70s . It was reissued few years ago . These guys came from Breda ,on south of Holland .The lp was originally released into 500 copies ,but more than half were thrown by singer into the cold sea of Holland in a moment of crisis when the lp received frustrating critics by local press at the time !!! Actually this is the copy of the singer sold recently to the guy who reissued it !! Cover was a paste on by the singer , totally private release and clumsy work , i would call it EX- .The record shows like EX with some soft non deep superficial tiny marks and plays more like VG++, a bit noisy but that's the poor pressing , don`t expect much ,you should know that .Overall is a dark low-fi recording in the style of some of the most wicked crazy german experimental prog acts ... Sheer dementia i would call in some parts ... some parts are dreamy ,some other nightmare !!! some with fuzz guitar riff pounding your head ,with accompaniament of crude harmonica and other with oud ,violin and organ sounding very oriental -exotic .....There's use of bag pipe, flute, oud, violin, organ, effects and insane wild fuzz , "rich" and weird sound for sure ... totally rudimentary , trippy sick experimental >Certainly unique sound ,of the items you have on your collection that can not be compared to anything else , even "agemo's trip" of GROUP 1850 sounds like mainstream pop in front of it.” (out of an older ebay advertisement)

2. “Well. Holy grail time here. An original of the really about impossible to get LP by Surprieze from the early 70s. Music is insane noise ACID basement madness music, some laid back tunes and even a few r&b tunes but the track 'Lazarus' is an unequalled evil experience filled with noise, eastern drone guitar licks played on a three string guitar of which one is used as drone, and weird folk instruments and a guy saying 'Lazarus' in a real menacing tone. They don't get any wilder. Of a press of 500, hundreds were thrown in the sea at Scheveningen cause Eddy got depressed of the reviews. We have an super RARE loose cover here. The remaining copies are loose or glued. Eddy glued some loose sleeve pieces to a cardboard sleeve to make it look more like a proper release. Pathetic but it happened. Most of the remaining covers were glued by himself (partly out of an older ebay advertisement)”

What makes it ultra rare is, that this copy is absolutely MINT with a loose cover and has all the inserts! You certainly will not find a better copy. I am afraid you will not find a copy at all.
