SUSAN CARTER wonderful deeds and adventures LP on Epic ex/ex LISTEN! Here is a nice one. You like the Chris Harwood LP but can´t afford one? I know the problem. Thing is here is a album as good as it. The high lights is the track "Jam Session: cruising with the blues" Listen to the soundfile. Folk funk of highest class in a Chris Harwood / Bonnie Dobson vein. "Kicks off with tight beat and repetitive piano riff then Susan’s superb vocal comes in. Dope bassline and sax and the drums get progressively funkier,real loud super tight and crisp breaks.Then halfway through Susan stops singing and we get a wicked sax solo over the top of the beats and piano." Took the description of that track off popsike because I couldn´t said it better. The soundfiles: The recordings are lo-fi recordings and therefore they don´t give the truth about the real sound quality - They are there to let you know how the records sound. Most records play great - expect M- and Ex records to play without sound for most of the time. Vg+ records also play great. Vg copies works as DJ copy. VG- is something I only list if the record is really rare. Often I give a more info on those in the text. .
