There might be an on-going jazz revival right now but they don't make them like this anymore. By The Red Stream is a unique and uncompromising collab between widely revered pianist and composer Horomasa Suzuki and the jazz rock group Big Soul Media, which was led by Jiro Inagaki. Together then make manic jazz sounds, dense with keys, trumpets and relentless drums that pirouette into the next dimension one moment then receded to tender melancholy the next. It's a wild ride that at the time was declared a "worldwide anti-war and peace" message.
