Description
Up for your consideration is a Swans - Filth Vinyl LP with the cover hand drawn by none other than Michael Gira. It is initialed "MG" and numbered #113/500. *See the underlined pressing info directly from Official Swans Web Portal below.
I've never seen another copy of Filth in this format. I saw Angels of Light in 2007 and spoke with Michael Gira about it briefly. He dryly said, and I quote.. "Congratulations, that is a very rare record. I'm not sure how many have survived.". Will be shipped in well-packed record mailer.
Condition Notes:
I have rated this Very Good Plus*.
Overall the record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
Record surfaces show some signs of wear and have slight scuffs and very light scratches but do not affect one's listening experience.
Sleeve and LP inner sleeve have some slight shelf wear.

The bonus tracks are in a different order on the cassette release. Notes: The 1990 UK LP re-release was also available in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies which had a white sleeve featuring artwork by Gira. These sleeves contained Neutral (N11) pressings rather than Young God (YG LP 1) pressings. Some copies of YG LP 1 were printed on pale pink vinyl. A limited edition clear vinyl version of the 1990 Young God LP exists. The cover is labelled as YG 001-1 but for some reason the label on the vinyl itself belongs to YG EP 1 (see above). This version of the record has the word UTOPIA etched into the vinyl's inner ring. All tracks were remastered for the CD re-release.
