“Young God is considered by critics to be one of Swans' most brutal releases, similar in sound to the band's first two albums, Filth (1983) and Cop (1984), but slightly more experimental, and with subject matter exemplified by the title track, from the point of view of serial killer Ed Gein. One notable element of the release is the use of a chain and metal table in the percussion section. [...] Kurt Cobain included it (under the name of "Raping a Slave") as his fiftieth favorite album on one of his last "50 Favorite Albums" lists in his Journals.”

• All domestic packages are tracked. Ask us if you would like the tracking number.
• We'll combine shipping costs on multiple wins (or store purchases) to save money for the buyer.
• The automatically generated invoice provided by eBay for multiple items doesn't understand combined shipping (it just adds the individual costs together), but we'll issue a proper invoice with the reduced shipping within 16 hours.
• We are professionals and pack with extreme care: you can trust us. However, we know some customers may have specific requirements for how their items are to be packed. Please confirm any such packing requests with us before bidding to be sure we can accomodate you. Different packing materials have different weights, so if for example you want a box for an item we might normally ship in a bubble mailer, the shipping cost will probably change.

• Massachusetts residents must pay sales tax because we are a Massachusetts business.
• We accept PayPal and credit cards by phone (Visa, Mastercard and Discover only).
• We're sorry, but we cannot accept personal checks as payment.
• Winners, please contact us within four days. If we do not receive payment from you within three weeks, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and report you as a non-paying bidder.

• Due to the mail theft epidemic in the Italian post office system, we no longer normally ship to addresses in Italy. Exceptions can be made for buyers willing to pay for Priority Mail, which is safer but much more expensive than First Class. Priority Mail can also be tracked. Please contact us if you are interested and we will provide a shipping quote.

Looking for more? In addition to our weekly auctions, we maintain a fixed-price inventory in our eBay store and on Amazon (under the name Planet Records). We also have a completely seperate inventory in the actual store (we're a real record store); you're welcome to call us if you're looking for something. Ebay disallows external links, but you can find our website easily with a quick search for “Planet Records” on your preferred search engine.
