RARE original US issue release of this 45. One of the harder to find People label 45's. "Soul Man" is a TOP NOTCH funk dancer with drum breaks all over the place but NOTE that the issue of this 45 also includes a superb mid-tempo crossover dancer on the b-side which isn't included on the demo/promo release. Hav a listen below to both sides! Fantastic stuff on both sides. Produced by James Brown, arranged by Fred Wesley.
