Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 16 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Dutch beat, Dutch Psych and Dutch progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare first Dutch pressing of Sweet Okay Supersister – Spiral Staircase on Polydor, cat no. 2441 048.
The record is in Near to Mint condition, there are only one or two very faint non-sounding hairlines on side 2. The labels are in Near to Mint condition as well, I haven’t found any spindle marks.
The sleeve is in EX+ condition, there is a very faint trace of a small sticker removal in the upper right hand corner and just very slight wear along the spine. Besides mentioned tiny defects there is nothing wrong with the cover.
I know that some copies came with a poster. Unfortunately this copy does NOT have the poster.
This is a very rare 1st Dutch pressing of Supersister’s final album, Spiral Staircase. This record is very hard to find in any condition. When this record was released in 1974. it sold in very tiny amounts, you can actually say that the sales were dramatic. After the release of this album, Robert Jan Stips (founder member of Supersister) joined Golden Earring for two years.
Although the cover has some small defects, the record is in absolute wonderful near to mint condition. Just how often do you find an almost 40 years old record in practically unplayed condition? This is your chance to obtain an extremely rare Supersister record in wonderful condition. A real must have for all Dutch Progressive fans! Happy Bidding!
