Up for bid is a VERY RARE 12" US TEST PRESSING of the SWEET LP "Cut Above The rest". Issued in 1979 , The white label pressing states "SWEET" "CUT ABOVE THE REST".  (# SO- 11929), "April 9, 1979, Release."  TEST PRESSING NOT FOR SALE. Vinyl is in Mint - condition: Shiny vinyl, super clean with the exception of 3 light scuffs/ scratches, (test played....no pops or clicks when played back on a high end B&O turntable, apparently not deep into the vinyl, likely visual only, 2 scuffs between tracks 3 & 4. One scratch/scuff at the very end on Side 2 track 9. Again, no audio sound detection of the marks. (I consider myself an audiofile, and am very particular of vinyl descriptions, being as collector myself. (Wish I could have rated this MINT, SUPER SOUND,  but had the visual marks noted above. As this is a TEST PRESSING, unsure if the tracks are different from initial release. (I believe they are the same).  Vinyl in NM condition, no scratches, scuffs or mars. Generic white cardboard cover is original to release, clean with very minor wear marks at top and bottom, no creases, bend marks, splits or stickers.  Obtained by me at the time of release. Likely played only once or twice on a high end B& O turntable. Well taken care of over the years. *** Payment expected on winning bids within 3 days. Will combine shipping on multiple items.
